This course will introduce students into the existing state of the art wireless networks. Course includes a presentation of existing broadband wireless networks (UMTS, HSxPA, LTE, WiMAX), Ad-Hoc networks and Sensor networks.  During the course lectures, students will be introduced into capacity planning, network signaling, case studies and laboratory presentations. Throughout the course existing Department sw planning and air interface protocol analyzer tools will be used, introducing students into the state of the art technology and troubleshooting tools used by the market nowdays. Moreover certain state of the art laboratory equipments on sensor networks will be used for designing network routing algorithms and power efficiency algorithms.
